HOLY HOUR. There will be a Holy Hour this Thursday evening before the Blessed Sacrament exposed from 11:00 p.m. until Midnight in reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Confessions will be heard during the Holy Hour. Everyone is welcome to attend.

CONFIRMATION. Please note that Bishop Santay will be conferring the Sacrament of Confirmation here at St. Anne’s next year. All confirmands must have a substantial knowledge of the catechism and will be tested on it. A list of study questions is available in the vestibule. More information will be available in the Fall.

MASS REQUESTS. Please note that we are backlogged on Mass requests and cannot accept any more until further notice.

ANNIVERSARY MASS. On Tuesday, October 9th, we will celebrate a High Mass commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the First Mass said at St. Anne’s Chapel. All are encouraged and invited to attend. The Mass will begin at 7:30 p.m. Cake and refreshments will be served after the Mass.

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT. There will be a volleyball tournament on Sunday, September 30th beginning at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. Please sign up in the vestibule if you would like to play.

CATECHISM CLASSES. The Sisters will offer Sunday catechism classes for students in grades 1-12 every Sunday between the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses. Registration forms are available in the vestibule. Be sure to sign up and turn in your forms today.

ADULT CATECHISM CLASSES. Adult Catechism class will begin on Tuesday, September 25th at 7:30 p.m. in the school. Please sign up at the bookstore if you plan on attending.

EMBER DAYS. Please note that Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are the Ember Days during September. They are days of fast and abstinence. Meat once a day at the principal meal on Wednesday and Saturday. Complete abstinence and fast on Friday. Please see back of the church calendar of your daily Missals regarding the law of fast and abstinence.

CONSECRATION ANNOUNCEMENT. Bishop Kelly asked me to announce to you some wonderful news. He has decided to consecrate another bishop for the Congregation of St. Pius V. Father James Carroll will be consecrated on December 27th at Immaculate Heart Seminary in Round Top, NY. Bishop Santay will be the consecrating bishop and Bishop Kelly will be co-consecrator. Please keep Bishop Kelly and Bishop Santay in your prayers. And please say a special prayer for Father Carroll as he prepares to undertake this most serious responsibility. Flyers with more information will be available in the future.
