WELCOME NEWCOMERS. Welcome to the St. Ann’s Chapel where the traditional Latin Mass is offered every Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend Mass, but please be aware that we have a dress code and rules to follow for the reception of Holy Communion. So, please read the information on the back of the Sunday bulletin.
MASS STIPENDS. Please note that we are now accepting Mass requests. Please note that we would like to limit your request to one Mass per week. Normal Mass stipend is $20.
MEMORIAL DAY. Tomorrow is Memorial Day and there is no school. Mass will be at 8:00 am. Please remember to keep our departed servicemen in your prayers.
EMBER DAYS. Please note that this Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are Ember Days. They are days of fast and abstinence. Meat is allowed once a day at the principal meal on Wednesday and Saturday. Fast and complete abstinence from meat are required on Friday. Please see the back of the church calendar or your daily missals for the traditional laws of fast and abstinence.
FIRST FRIDAY - ALL NIGHT ADORATION. This Friday is First Friday. Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. with confessions heard before Mass. Also, confessions will be heard from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Holy Communion will be distributed to the Faithful after confessions. All-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will begin at 8:15 p.m. and continue until 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Please sign up in the vestibule for an hour of adoration.
FIRST SATURDAY MASS. First Saturday Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. for graduation.
BLESSING. Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. Please bring any items you need blessed to the Communion rail next Sunday and Father will bless them for you.
USHERS. The summer usher schedule is available in the vestibule. Please find a substitute if you are not available during the summer.
FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI. On Thursday, June 8th, we will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi. There will be an evening Mass and Procession at 7:30 p.m. to honor Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
PARISH POTLUCK. There will be a parish pot-luck luncheon and picnic after the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 11th. Please join us!
SUMMER CATECHISM. The dates for summer catechism this year are June 12th – 16th. All students in grades 1-12 are encouraged to attend. Registration forms are available in the vestibule. Please turn them in as soon as possible so we can arrange for teachers.
EASTER DUTY. The fourth precept of the Church commands the Faithful to receive Holy Communion during the Easter time. The Easter time is extended in the United States. It is from the first Sunday in Lent until Trinity Sunday (June 4th) inclusive. In addition, the third precept of the Church commands the Faithful to confess their sins at least once a year.
