ANNOUNCEMENTS

WELCOME NEWCOMERS. Welcome to the St. Ann’s Chapel where the traditional Latin Mass is offered every Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend Mass, but please be aware that we have a dress code and rules to follow for the reception of Holy Communion. So, please read the information on the back of the Sunday bulletin.

MASS STIPENDS. Please note that we have a backlog of Mass requests. Please do not submit any more Mass requests until further notice.

CHRIST THE KING. Today is the Feast of Christ the King. There will be Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass with the recitation of the Litany and the Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart.

CONFRATERNITY OF ST. JOSEPH. Today is the fourth Sunday of the month. We ask the men of the confraternity to join in the prayers after Mass for the intention of reparation and other special intentions.

HOLY HOUR. There will be a Holy Hour this Thursday evening from 11:00 p.m. until midnight in reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Confessions heard during the Holy Hour.

SILENT AUCTION. The Silent Auction will end today. Be sure to stop by and look at the variety of available items. All proceeds will help support the Academy and our new building project!

VIGIL OF ALL SAINTS. Friday, October 31, is the Vigil of All Saints. It is a day of fast and complete abstinence.

ALL SAINTS’ DAY. Saturday, November 1, is All Saints’ Day. It is a holy day of obligation and also First Saturday. There will be a High Mass at 8:00 a.m. and a Low Mass at 10:00 a.m. Confessions will be heard before first Mass and between the Masses.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME. Next Sunday ends Daylight Saving Time. Please remember to turn your clocks back one hour before retiring Saturday night.

BLESSING. Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. Please bring any items you would like blessed to the communion rail after Mass and Father will bless them.

ALL SOULS’ DAY. Monday, November 3, is All Souls’ Day. There will be Masses at 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Confessions will be heard at 6:30 p.m. Envelopes are available in the pews. Please fill out the names of the deceased you would like remembered during the Masses on All Souls’ Day and turn in your envelopes by November 1. Plenary indulgences can be gained during visits to the Blessed Sacrament on All Souls’ Day by praying six Our Fathers, Hail Marys, and Glory Bes and by visiting a cemetery during the octave. Please see the sign in the vestibule for more details.

PARISH WORK DAY. There will be a parish work day to clean up the church yard on Saturday, November 8.

MODERNISM CLASS. The next Modernism class with Fr. Krug will be held Thursday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the school. All are welcome to attend.

LADIES’ DAY OF RECOLLECTON. On Saturday, November 15, there will be a Ladies’ Day of Recollection. All women of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend. Registration forms are available in the bookstore.
